Henry weds Ann and soon she gives him a child. The girl, Elizabeth, is a bitter disappointment to Henry, who desperately wants an heir. Anne promises Henry a son “next time,” but Henry is doubtful. it depends on whether or not you’re ok with depressing. i remember LOVING a wrinkle in time and the chronicles of narnia. they’re both kind of fantasy based, and narnia has a lot of religious undertones, but it’s a good read even for someone like me.
animal farm is good too, but really depressing. really political, but it’s told from a metaphorical farm animal point of view.
i don’t remember much about the miracle worker aside from being about helen keller. i vaguely remember the secret garden being pretty ok, but kind of dull.
i’m not a huge fan of jane eyre, but i know that’s because i’m not into romance. don’t get me wrong, it’s way better than a danielle steele book, but still not my cup of tea. it’s probably a good book by most other people’s standards.

I say read the hobbit. Its a really good book. Its just like lord of the rings but with bilbo and 13 drawfs and gandalf. And they go in a war meet a dragon its really good. And bilbo steals tons of stuff.
Can you answer my Question?:

Animal Farm is one of my all-time favorite books.
The animals don’t like the farmer. They kick him out and take over the farm. ANIMAL POWER! Life on their own is pretty good, too. That is, until the pigs appoint themselves as leaders…

The secret garden and the hobbit I loved both and a wrinkle in time was boring BTW

where the red fern grows is a great book, it’s about this boy who lives in this family, and it takes place back when $20 was a lot of money.
He really wants hunting dogs, but his parents won’t buy him any because their a lot of money. It’s about how after he buys them, he trains them and uses them to win a raccoon hunt (p.s ending is really sad
DO NOT READ ANIMAL FARM! unless you like books where animals talk and act like humans (then pigs take over, and look like humans at the end), then don’t read it
p.s both books are movies, animal farm is cartoon, and where the red fern grows is real life

The Secret Garden;-
A story about a sour girl called Mary Lennox. Follow her in her adventures in a garden and read about how she grows out of her spoilt and selfish ways.
A Child Called It;-
Truly touching. Read about the brutal horror that was little David’s mother. You definately can’t have a weak stomach for this one. Recommended on anyone’s book list.
Have fun reading ![]()

Flowers for Algernon
Hatchet
Where the Red Fern Grows
The Cay
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
Those are the ones I’ve read from that list and I’d suggest reading any of them. I’m not gonna write a summary, you can look them up on your own.
Who tells someone NOT to read something unless you know that person’s taste in books? Don’t ever listen to someone who tells you not to read something just because they didn’t like it. So dumb.

From what I’ve read, Hatchet is a great book! I read it a couple years ago and loved it. It is about a thirteen year old boy who must learn to survive in the woods alone after a plane incident. He finds a hatchet and learns to survive using his hatchet and make-shift survival supplies.
A Wrinkle in time is good too. You have to really use your imagination in it. If you don’t mind, I’ll explain myself. The main character encounters three women who live down the road. They travel through "wrinkles" in time, meaning, instead of going in a straight line of time, they find folds to shorten the distance and travel to imaginary lands. Both very good. books.
By the way, you have a wrinkle in time on both lists ![]()

I would read Tuck Everlasting. I find that the book is fairly easy to read and some what short, but for me, that’s not the important part. I find that Tuck Everlasting can teach everybody a very important lesson about life. It is a book I have read over and over again and I love it. Here is the resume on the back of the book:
Doomed to – or blessed with – eternal life after drinking from a magic spring, the Tuck family wanders about trying to live as inconspicuously and comfortably as they can. When ten-year-old Winnie Foster stumbles on their secret, the Tucks take her home and explain why living forever at one age is less a blessing than it might seem. Complications arise when Winnie is followed by a stranger who wants to market the water for a fortune.
As I said before, it is a beautiful book, well worth reading. The movie is also amazing and I am warning you, can make you cry uncontrollably. I hope this helps. Happy reading.
